Chapters
As a membership organization, Lex Amica is divided into into chapters. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join Lex Amica. The constitution of these chapters is an ongoing process that has not be fully completed. If you are interested in joining one or more of the below chapters, then contact us at lexamicaaug@gmail.com to get started.

Lawyers Chapters
Lex Amica’s Lawyers Chapter brings together advocates, business and policy leaders, judges and others interested in examining and improving the state of the law.

Student Chapters
Lex Amica was born on the law school campus of Makerere University to provide a forum for debate and discussion. Lex Amica’s Student Chapters seek to be the premier ideas-driven student organizations in all law school campuses nationwide.

Working Groups
Lex Amica’s Working Group members are grouped by a substantive area and chapter of the constitution. These volunteers help track major developments in their constitutional area of expertise and direct the content and programming of the Working Group. They organize events including Forums, in person programs, and panels for conferences. Members also author blog posts, reports and articles featured in Lex Amica’s Publications.
